The NFL draft for 2016 so far has the LA Rams with 3 picks in the top 45 overall, including the 15th overall draft pick in the first round. Their anemic offense is in serious need of weapons, including a franchise quarterback and a receiver that can collect 1,000 yards over the course of a 16 game season.
Acknowledging that the final four rounds are subject to change after the NFL determines the 32 compensatory picks during the month before the draft, here’s a quick list of the LA’s selections in each round:
Round 1 — # 15 overall
Round 2 — # 43 overall, No. 45 overall (acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles in the Sam Bradford–Nick Foles trade).
Round 3 — # 76 overall
Round 4 — # 107 overall
Round 5 — no picks (Used fifth-round choice on OT Isaiah Battle in last year’s supplemental draft)
Round 6 — # 171 overall
Round 7 — no picks (Traded pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for quarterback Case Keenum)
