As first reported by Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times, fan favorite Eric Kush, “The King of Tanktops”, did not make the 53 man roster. Apparently caught up in a numbers game as an offensive lineman, his strong play at center during the preseason had some convinced he would make the 53 man roster to begin the season.

Kush was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 6th round of the 2013 NFL Draft

  • I was surprised to see that Aaron green got cut too. Especially considering his performance in the second half of the preseason game in Minnesota, he seemed like he would be a good change-of-pace back to complement the big bruisers in the backfield. But, I digress…
